Stevan Petrovic delivered a composed drive to win the opening race of the weekend at Ring Knutstorp, leading every lap from pole position. The RCR Sweden driver was under constant pressure from championship leader Sebastian Schou, who shadowed him throughout the 20-lap contest, but Petrovic never put a wheel wrong on his way to a third victory of the season.

Behind the lead duo, Ludvig Bäck translated a strong qualifying performance into his second podium of the year. Starting from third on the grid, he came under heavy attack from Erlend Juan Olsen in the early stages. Olsen pressed hard in his Auto Tech-Sport entry, but Bäck held firm and secured the final spot on the rostrum after a faultless drive.
The midfield provided some of the most entertaining racing of the afternoon. Morten Strømsted, Rasmus Hedberg and Jørn Martin Aalerud were locked in battle for much of the distance. Hedberg and Aalerud went side by side from the run out of Turn 1 through NGK-krönet and almost all the way up to Hårnålen, demonstrating close but fair racing that had the crowd on its feet.

Mikael Bern was also part of the fight before being forced to retire with technical issues, while Johan Leander continued to acclimatise to the SR3 after a difficult qualifying. He will look to regroup and come back stronger in Sunday’s races.
Further back, Johan Auer and Andreas Nilsson produced a spirited ten-lap scrap before Nilsson eventually edged clear. Debutant Dag Johansson also impressed with a solid run to the finish, marking his first Radical Cup Scandinavia start with consistency and composure.
