In 2024, we’re back with a new season and a new look – this is MOMO Radical Cup Scandinavia!

MOMO Radical Cup Scandinavia is one of the official Radical Motorsport championships across the globe and represents Northern Europe’s foremost drivers. The core values of the series is to create an attractive championship for organizers, teams, and drivers who want the ultimate driving experience combined with action-packed racing at the best venues in Scandinavia – sports car racing at its best.

In collaboration with the Swedish Automobile Sports Federation, MOMO Radical Cup Scandinavia is included as one of the top tier official championship in Sweden and runs alongside other championships, such as STCC and Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia.

RACING

CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES

Our racing series is happy to welcome both national and international drivers, and in addition to competing for the overall RCS-title, the series is divided into three different categories:

PRO SR1 – The perfect entry level of Radical racing, offering excellent performance at low operating costs.

PRO SR3 – The primary class of the series, focusing on the best selling sports prototype in the world – the SR3!

Platinum Class – Pushing the limits of speed and physics with the Radical SR10.

RACE FORMAT

Each race weekend will normally consist of 4-5 official driving sessions over a compact 2-3day format. Some of the organizers may also offer extended test sessions.

A typical Radical Cup Scandinavia race weekend has the following running order: 

  • 1-2 x Test session(s)
  • 1 x Qualification
  • 2-3 x Sprint Races

The 2024 season will offer a total of 6 race weekends at 6 different tracks in 2 countries.

ORGANIZATION

As part of our quality control and development plan, there are several key roles within the MOMO Radical Cup Scandinavia organization that we aspire to appoint. These roles each play an important part in how the series operates and is experienced by our competitors and partners. Some of the key roles include:

  • Promoter / Marketing Manager
  • Race Director
  • Scrutineering Officer / Technical Manager
  • Spare Parts Manager
  • Media Manager
  • Hospitality / VIP / Partners

TECHNICAL SUPPORT / SPARE PARTS

Competing in an official Radical championship will make sure you access technical support and guidance from our own trained technicians. In addition, our spare parts truck include a generous stock of spare parts to make sure that every competitor will find their way to the grid.

MEDIA

To enhance the experience and to create a platform for our participants and teams to operate in, media is an important part of MOMO Radical Cup Scandinavia.

LIVE STREAMING

Our races are live streamed, either on our own YouTube channel or on a partner streaming platform.  

SOCIAL MEDIA

We continue to increase our presence on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Before, during, and after a race weekend, you can follow all the action and content through pictures and video footage on our channels.

 

WEBSITE

On our website, we will frequently publish sporting and technical regulations or bulletins. You will also find news, race reports and championship standings, among other information.

PUBLICATIONS

As a part of our media strategy, we have contact with several local and national newspapers and publications during the season to help our participants, teams, and series gain visibility.

PHOTOGRAPHERS

For each race weekend, we hire dedicated photographers who captures all the action through photographs and video footage for our media bank.
