Radical Cup Scandinavia returned to Ljungbyheds Motorbana under dry and sunny skies, but with strong winds sweeping across the airfield circuit. Despite the blustery conditions, drivers wasted no time getting up to speed ahead of a packed Saturday program.
In Practice 1, it was Erlend Juan Olsen (AutoTech-Sport Norway) who topped the timesheets with a blistering 50.325, narrowly edging out Morten Strømsted (STEP Motorsport) and Sebastian Schou. The session saw the top four separated by just over four tenths, indicating a tightly contested weekend ahead.
Practice 2 flipped the order as Morten Strømsted responded with a best time of 50.340 to lead the field into Saturday. Olsen once again impressed, ending the session P2 just 0.223s adrift, while Schou and Leander continued to show consistent pace inside the top five.
With four sessions on the schedule for Saturday – Qualifying and all three races – the stage is set for a thrilling second round of the 2025 Radical Cup Scandinavia season.
