The final round of Radical Cup Scandinavia kicked off today at Ring Knutstorp in Sweden, delivering an exciting result after the 50-minute test session.
A brief rain shower early in the session kept most cars in the pits as the track conditions were challenging. As the rain cleared and the track began to dry, lap times dropped significantly towards the end of the session.
Hampus Ericsson, guest driver this weekend, led the pack, finishing 0.244 seconds ahead of championship leader Johan Leander. Ericsson, who benefited from new slick tires, impressed with his strong debut performance at Ring Knutstorp.
Championship contender Erlend Juan Olsen and Rasmus Hedberg completed the most laps, each clocking in 39 laps, maximizing track time in preparation for the weekend’s races.
