Stevan Petrovic has secured the 2026 Sekvens Pole Position Award, recognising the strongest qualifying performance across the Radical Cup Scandinavia season.
Petrovic set the tone from the opening round at Gelleråsen, where he immediately established himself as the benchmark over one lap. He followed that with another standout qualifying performance at Ljungbyhed, building an advantage in the Pole Position Award standings that ultimately proved enough to secure the title.
Even an engine failure at Ring Knutstorp, which forced him to miss qualifying completely, could not prevent him from taking the award.
For Petrovic, the prize is not only the title itself. As winner of the Sekvens Pole Position Award, he will also receive a Fortis watch of his choice, supplied by Sekvens.
More than a watch partner
Sekvens is built around a much broader idea than simply selling watches.
Based in Malmö, Sekvens combines a curated shop with an independent magazine and community focused on design, craftsmanship, cameras, gear and objects made to last. Their philosophy centres on choosing carefully, buying better and putting value on products that combine function, quality and character.
That makes the partnership with Radical Cup Scandinavia particularly fitting. Qualifying is about precision, preparation and executing when there is no margin for error, values that sit naturally alongside the kind of products and stories Sekvens chooses to represent.
Among the brands available through Sekvens is Fortis, the Swiss watchmaker known for robust, functional tool watches. Sekvens carries a wide range of Fortis models, from the Marinemaster to the Flieger and Vagabond collections.
Petrovic will now have the opportunity to choose his own Fortis watch as part of his prize.
Consistency when it mattered
Across the season, Petrovic’s qualifying pace has played an important part in his championship campaign.
Starting from the front has repeatedly given him the opportunity to convert outright speed into race victories, podiums and valuable championship points.
The Pole Position Award is therefore a fitting recognition of one of the strongest parts of his 2026 season.
With the award now decided, attention turns back to the overall championship battle as Radical Cup Scandinavia heads towards its final round at Jyllandsringen.
Congratulations to Stevan Petrovic, winner of the 2026 Sekvens Pole Position Award.
